Blackhawk Technical College
The Culinary Arts program combines elements of artistry, science and business skills to prepare students for an exciting career in Food Service. Students will study principles of food preparation, quantity production, equipment layout and operation management. Students are involved in preparation and serving experiences in the food service lab and receive additional opportunities in catering, ice sculpting and food presentation. The Culinary Arts program at Blackhawk Technical College has been honored by the Wisconsin Technical College System (WTCS) board with the Exemplary Educational Service Award. Culinary Production Specialist Technical Diploma
BTC Career Services helps students explore careers, prepare for the job application process and find current opportunities. BTC offers resume writing, mock interviews, job search techniques, and internships, when available.
Blackhawk Technical College provides free tutoring services to credit students enrolled at the college. We offer online, open lab and peer tutoring. Also counseling services are available.

Refunds are processed according to the Wisconsin Technical College System Refund Policy for program, material and activity fees. To receive refunds, you must formally request refunds from Registration and Records by notifying them of your intent to drop a class(es) or completely withdraw from all classes. Requests for refunds must be received during the same term of enrollment. Refund requests are time-sensitive as each day that passes may affect the amount of refund you are eligible.
